Mac'n Cheese Soup

This is after we attacked it!!!

Can you say yumola?  This recipe is one of those that puts a smile on your face and warms your heart!  Especially on those nasty cold days here in Kansas! It is totally full of calorie goodness!  This is actually a recipe I got from an old Pampered Chef book but instead of putting the 1 cup of Ham in it, I put Bacon instead (request by Pokey).

1 package deluxe-type macaroni & cheese dinner
1 cup Broccoli, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 cup water
2 1/2 cups milk
1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup
Bacon (I use about a half a pack; but i usually double this recipe and just use a whole pack of Bacon)

Cook macaroni according to package; drain and set aside.  Combine chopped Broccoli, onion and water in pot; bring to a boil & cook 2 minutes - do not drain!  Stir in mac'n cheese sauce pouch, milk, cheese soup and bacon.  Return to a boil, stirring occasionally.  Yummo!  Let me know how you like it!
